__NOTOC__ Nowa Sól County ((ポーランド語:powiat nowosolski)) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Lubusz Voivodeship, western Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Nowa Sól, which lies south-east of Zielona Góra and south of Gorzów Wielkopolski. The county contains three other towns: Kożuchów, lying south-west of Nowa Sól, Bytom Odrzański, lying south-east of Nowa Sól, and Nowe Miasteczko, south of Nowa Sól. The county covers an area of . As of 2006 its total population is 86,773, out of which the population of Nowa Sól is 40,351, that of Kożuchów is 9,592, that of Bytom Odrzański is 4,365, that of Nowe Miasteczko is 2,828, and the rural population is 29,637.
